Cafè Epoca

Calle de Arzopispado, Carrera 5 #34-52,
Centro Historico, Cartagena de Indias, Bolívar, Colombia

After staying on the beaches of Isla Baru for three days, my boyfriend and I switched it up and headed to the city. The first coffee spot we went to was Cafe Epoca, in the historic center of Cartagena.
The interiors of the cafe are cozy, with beautiful black and white tiles. It's perfect for a quick bite or to spend your afternoon, or night, slowly (since there is a full bar).

We decided to go with the Syphon brewing method, since we both had never tried it. It was amazingggg. We had the Honey Caturra blend, recommended by the server. The flavors were everything. It was strong, yet light and had a strong nutty aftertaste. Our server also went through the whole process of using a Syphon to brew coffee, which was interesting. It was all in Spanish, so I grabbed certain words, but had my boyfriend translate.
Cafe Epoca is definitely worth going to for the Colombian coffee, as well as for the drinks and food.

We loved the coffee so much we ended up buying a few bags, such as the Gesha Natural, which is also delicious.
